New year indulgence

The first day of 2016 has been sunny and nice here in Verona. After a little walk on the hills, I decided to make a special afternoon snack…Not something I would usually have, but, well, it’s holiday time! So I made pears and chocolate, a typical winter holidays french recipe that a friend suggested just the other day. I used organic pears that were already naturally sweet and good quality dark chocolate. Simple, tasty and easy to make, it’s a pleasant treat that makes everybody happy.
